With some lovely visuals and straightforward mechanics, Moon Mode’s made excellent use of spatial gameplay in a manner only VR could achieve. We reviewed the Quest version of Spacefolk City last month and ended up quite liking it, saying “ there remains plenty to love about Spacefolk City. The game’s a mix of city-building and god sim with a cutesy art style. Expect the full game to make the leap, tasking players with building a new floating city out in space after a supernova brings chaos to the galaxy. That’s just a few weeks after it debuted on the Oculus Quest on October 21. The game from Moon Mode launches on SteamVR on November 10. Looks like the devs dumped another bottom-end non-textured phoneVR game (=Quest) on high-end VR users. 3/10 Definitely do not recommend until they add more content This was an amazing concept but less then adequate execution. Had none of the charm of any city building game which was nice that it tries to be its own thing but seriously falls flat. I will say though I thought that the floating radio was a bit of a nice touch but the music I just can't think of any way to describe how bad it is. When the missions have more sandbox ability then the actual sandbox mode you know that's a bad sign for any game. You get 7-8 levels total and the sandbox is just the same small space with ONLY 1 CLOUD, so the whole getting "creative" is just redesign the same 12 buildings in a different order.
